Enterprise Plymouth Limited is one of
Britain's most active Enterprise Agencies which were set up to help new and
existing businesses to grow and employ more people.
To achieve this aim Enterprise Plymouth provides free, confidential and
independent advice, counselling and training to start-up and established
small businesses situated within the Plymouth Travel to Work Area.
Start-up Training
A choice of courses covering many aspects of business, including marketing,
finance and legalities, leading to the preparation of a business plan and the
opportunity to achieve an NVQ3. All clients attend one-to-one counselling
sessions during and following the training course.
Business
Rehearsal
A programme which allows people in receipt of Benefit to go into business
for a short period without loss of Benefit. Special rules apply.
Plymouth
Small Business Fund
Loans and grants available for start-ups and existing businesses located
within the Plymouth City Boundaries.
Business Care Programme
A programme aimed at businesses which have been trading for at least 12
months and which have reached the stage where they need expert advice and
guidance.
getSet Programme
getSet is a new project run jointly by Plymouth Returners and EPL from
Stoke offering a whole new approach to assist those who would like to be
self employed but who require a more supportive start or need to increase
their current skills before commencing their business.
